Carlton Tyson, Founder, CEO, and President of The Tyson Group Companies is a product of Union County. Having started his business in 1972, Carlton has witnessed incredible growth in this region. He has many accomplishments which have benefited this county and surrounding areas. Some of his accomplishments include Camelot, the first condominiums in Monroe, Vineyard Point, one of the first condominium projects on Lake Norman, Metro Medical, one of Union County’s first medical communities, Industrial Ventures I and II, which brought new business to the area and provided new buildings for 65 other businesses, and many retail facilities including The Tyson Center, Corporate Square, and Shops at Nottingham Plaza.

Carlton has always played an active role in the development of Union County by serving in many different roles. He has served as Secretary and Vice President for the Chamber of Commerce, was the In Kind Contractor for the construction of a new Hospice House in Union County, on the Jury Commission, was past Chairman of the Union County Planning Board, served on the Union County Tourism Board, was a charter member of the Union County Kiwanis Club, and a past member of the Union County Rotary Club. In addition, Carlton was named Entrepreneur of the Year in 2002, inducted into the Business Hall of Fame in 2004 by the Union County Chamber, and he was recognized as Realtor of the Year and as Homebuilder of the Year.

His business accomplishments are too numerous to list them all but his attitude of “giving back” is what sets him apart from others in the industry. His recent donation to South Piedmont Community College led to the unveiling of the new Tyson Family Center for Technology which allows SPCC to strengthen technical and vocational training for our future generation. He also received the Humanitarian Award and a key to the city from Richfield, NC, from his donation of land to the city for a park which benefited the students of Richfield Elementary School.

Marcus Arroyo is the president of Ty-Par Commercial Realty, Inc. Marcus comes to us with 19+ years of success overseeing all phases of multi-million dol- lar projects. He is the Founder and Principal of The Arroyo Development Group, LLC, in Charlotte, NC. His many projects include Mario’s Italian Restaurant and John’s Place Tavern in Stallings, The Piazza at Bellasera and Bellasera Business Park in Matthews, The Waxhaw Professional Center in Waxhaw, and The Foun- tains in Charlotte, to name a few. Marcus’s construction experience, backed by his strong credentials, and his proven history will be beneficial to our clients at Ty-Par Commercial Realty.Marcus is a graduate of University of South Florida College of Business Administration. He and his family reside in Waxhaw.

Ronald T. Parker is the President of L.C. Tyson Construction, Inc. and Vice President of RMMC, Inc. and has been with the company since 1989. Ron is versed in contract negotiating, construction planning and scheduling, project esti- mating and job costing, design, budget analysis, document preparation, building codes and regulations, material purchasing, and site development. He has com- pleted many projects during his time with L. C. Tyson Construction including Metro Medical, Shops of Nottingham, Industrial Ventures I, II, and III, Tyson Center, Corporate Plaza, Emerald Lake Pro Shop, and The View at Emerald Lake. Ron resides in Union County and spends his free time enjoying his four grandchildren. He is a graduate of Western Carolina University and currently holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Education and Technology. He has a North Carolina Broker’s license and the General Contractor qualification. With over 40

years’ experience in real estate development and construction, Ron’s personal service to details and work ethics is a value to each and every client.

Christa Tyson Boggs is a native of Union County. She is Broker In Charge of Ty-Par Commercial Realty, Inc. Her career began in 1992 with MECA Proper- ties where she developed one of the first projects of the revitalization process which is known as Atherton Mill. She is a graduate of Wake Forest University with a BA in English and Communications. Christa implements the marketing and advertising programs for Ty-Par. Her largest project is the Metro Medical Campus in Monroe, which is home to many upscale medical and non medical offices. She works closely with the construction team to make sure that her cli- ents have "one stop shopping."

Linda Costa is originally from Connecticut but claims the South as home. She has career experience in manufacturing, security, and event planning and brings her expertise to work for us as the Rental Manager for RMMC, Inc. She is involved with our current leasees and properties. Linda’s job is to locate, evaluate and develop potential local leasing tenants She prepares lease documentation and helps every client with move-in procedures. Linda is a true professional and works to develop and maintain relationships with existing tenants. She is always working with the client’s needs in mind. Linda is a graduate of Post University. She resides in Union County with her family.

With 27 years of experience as a realtor, Troy Simpson has a long record of successfully guiding clients with their commercial real estate acquisitions and fully understands the expertise necessary for successful business ventures. Troy specializes in office warehouse buildings, raw land, and income producing prop- erty with proficiency in strategic planning, space utilization, transaction manage- ment, and financial structuring. Troy and his wife are lifelong residents of the New Salem area of Union County. Troy is a member of the Union County Board of Realtors and the Union County Chamber of Commerce. He is a li- censed broker in both NC and SC. With his extensive background and expertise, Troy is equipped and ready to handle all aspects of real estate for you.

Terry Richardson joined Ty-Par Commercial Realty in 2015, focusing her efforts on listing and selling commercial properties, along with assisting with development of new projects. Richardson began her real estate career 20+ years ago in the residential field. Richardson believes in developing trusting relationships and working to provide solutions to each individual client. Richardson received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Carolina University. She currently resides in Monroe and enjoys spending her free time with her family. She is a member of the Union County Association of Realtors and is licensed in both North Carolina and South Carolina. Whether buying or selling, Richardson has the experience you can depend on to assist you with all of your real estate needs.

Joe Dixon is ready to assist you with all your buying, selling or leasing needs! Joe grew up in Columbia, graduated HS in Waynesville, NC, attended Western Carolina and the University of South Carolina, and ended up getting his BS in Mathematics from Charter Oak State in CT. He joined the Coast Guard in 1979 and after 21 years retired from the Coast Guard in 2000. He then taught high school math and coached volleyball and basketball, was part of the Jim "Beam Team" in FL for the past 7 years. Joe is a member of the Union County Board of Realtors, licensed in North Carolina and brings his sales experience ready to work for you! Paula Nance Sanders joins us at Ty-Par Realty shifting from her twenty year career in Human Resources. Her Human Resources roles often intercepted with Real Estate and sparked an interest! She is experienced in hiring Construction and Real Estate professionals and finding the optimal location to meet the com- pany's business strategy balanced with the needs of her employees. In her new role with Ty-par Commercial Realty, Paula is ready to go to work for you to ensure you are able to meet your own business objectives. She is a graduate of Appalachian State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Ad- ministration and a major in marketing. Paula is licensed in North Carolina.
